Zander Sumner Urges Drivers in A59 Crash to Come Forward for Help
Zander Sumner seeks witnesses to a serious A59 crash involving a speeding BMW
Zander Sumner, A59, BMW, Lancashire, UK
Zander believes the BMW was going nearly 80mph. When he came to, the drivers were gone.
He shared, “I’m in so much pain, but I’m grateful to see my kids.” Zander described the moment of impact as a white flash and a loud bang.
After the crash, he tried to grab his phone but fell out of his car. He managed to drag himself to safety.
Sadly, the drivers of the BMW fled the scene. Zander, a guitar teacher, suffered serious injuries, including a broken collarbone and fractured ribs.
He hopes the drivers will do the right thing and come forward. Zander spent the night in the hospital and may not return to work for weeks.
He’s asking anyone who was driving in the area to check their CCTV and dashcam footage.
A spokesperson from Lancashire Constabulary called it a minor injury collision.
