Hull: A young guy named Nathan Goodwin got caught up in the drug scene after watching flashy Snapchat videos. He thought selling drugs could help him make a quick £1,000 a week and escape his family’s money troubles.

At just 20, Nathan was drawn in by the idea of a glamorous lifestyle that older guys were showing off online. He figured it was a way to support his family, but things quickly spiraled out of control.

He was busted for having heroin and crack cocaine, along with a stash of cash. The police found him when they were checking out a different case. He even tried to give them a fake name!

When they searched him, they found a bunch of drug paraphernalia, including a knife. Despite claiming he was clean, they discovered he had nearly £1,000 worth of heroin on him.

After getting out on bail, Nathan was seen dealing drugs again. He thought he could keep it under wraps, but the police were onto him. They found more drugs and messages on his phone that showed he was still in the game.

His lawyer argued that Nathan was just a kid who got caught up in a bad situation. He had no prior convictions and was just trying to help his family. But the judge pointed out that he was groomed by older dealers who promised him easy money.

In the end, Nathan was sentenced to over three years in a young offenders’ institution. It’s a tough lesson learned, but hopefully, he can turn his life around.
