San Francisco: So, guess what? Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, is testing a new iOS app for its Grok chatbot. Until now, Grok was just for X users, but that’s changing.

The app is already live in places like the U.S., Australia, and India. It can pull real-time info from the web and X, plus it has some cool features. You can rewrite text, summarize long paragraphs, and even generate images from text prompts.

According to the app’s listing, Grok is all about being truthful, useful, and curious. You can ask it anything, create stunning images, and even upload your own pics for a better understanding of your world.

xAI is also working on a dedicated website, Grok.com, to make the chatbot available online. Right now, if you log in with an xAI account, it just says “coming soon.”

Previously, Grok was only for X’s paying subscribers. But in November, they started testing a free version, and now it’s available to everyone.

The company claims that Grok’s image generator is top-notch at creating photorealistic images. Plus, it doesn’t have many restrictions, so you can use public figures and copyrighted stuff in your creations.

Oh, and just a heads up, this story has been updated to let you know that the Grok app is now in beta across multiple countries.
