Wrexham: Pictures of the new stand at the STok Cae Ras were shared yesterday. The updated design has a capacity of 5,500 seats. It includes safe standing, hospitality, and accessible seating. This stand will be a key feature visible from the city center.
The seating bowl aims to create a lively home end for fans. The roof design is made to amplify the crowd’s cheers towards the pitch. This should enhance the atmosphere during games.
Fans have mixed feelings about the new design. Some, like Harley Woods, love it. He called it a “great unique design.” Jack Richards is excited too, saying it will look spectacular with the Red Dragon statue added.
However, not everyone is a fan. Trevor Coxon preferred the previous design, saying the new one looks like “collapsing sand castles.” Sam Foulkes thinks it clashes with the rest of the stadium.
Others, like Cynthia Crossley, find it odd. Phillip Millington even compared it to a “sand crawler from Star Wars.” The debate continues among Wrexham supporters.
