Christophe Goutte, Galway, Cork, Ireland, Missing Person

Cork: It’s been five years since Christophe Goutte went missing. He was last seen getting on a bus to Galway. This anniversary has sparked a new appeal for information.

At the time, Christophe lived in Midleton. He was last spotted leaving work in Carrigtwohill around 11 am on January 15, 2020. He boarded a bus at Parnell Station in Cork City, arriving in Galway around 5:35 pm.

Christophe is about 5’8″, stocky, with short brown hair and a sallow complexion. On the day he disappeared, he wore a black coat, black pants, a black wool hat, and brown boots. He also had a dark overall bag with him.

Now, the gardaí in Cork are reaching out again for any leads. They want to hear from anyone in Galway or nearby who might have seen him. The investigation is still active, and they’re eager for any tips.

Even though Christophe’s family lives in France, a liaison officer is keeping them in the loop about any updates. They’re hoping for news, just like everyone else.

If you have any information about Christophe’s movements or know where he might be, please contact the gardaí in Cobh at 021-490-8530, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800-666-111, or any local garda station.
