Wrexham: So, there’s been a landslip in Gobowen, and it’s causing quite a mess. Network Rail is on it, working around the clock to sort things out.

This all kicked off on Saturday night when the landslip blocked the train line from Wrexham General to Shrewsbury. Because of that, trains are being diverted, and they’re not stopping at Wrexham General, Ruabon, Chirk, or Gobowen.

A spokesperson from Network Rail mentioned that they’re making good progress and hope to reopen the line soon. In the meantime, trains are being rerouted through Crewe, and there are replacement buses running between Shrewsbury and Wrexham.

If you’re planning to travel, it’s a good idea to check the latest updates before you head out. Stay safe out there!
