Woolwich: So, there was this really sad incident on a bus in Woolwich Church Road. A young guy named Kelyan Bokassa was stabbed just before 2:30 PM yesterday.
Even though his name was out there earlier, the police have now officially confirmed it and shared a picture of him. They’re hoping to get more info from the public.
The investigation is moving along, but no one has been arrested yet. They really want to hear from anyone who might have seen something or has footage of the incident.
People have started leaving flowers at the bus stop where it happened, which is just heartbreaking. Paramedics tried to help Kelyan, but he sadly passed away shortly after they arrived.
Detective Chief Inspector Martin Thorpe is leading the case. He’s urging anyone who was around the area or saw the attack to come forward. They’re especially looking for any mobile phone or dash cam footage.
