Bow: A 36-year-old woman from Bow, Washington, got herself into a heap of trouble after she tried to flee from a traffic stop. It all went down on a Monday afternoon when a Washington State Patrol trooper tried to pull her over.
So, picture this: the trooper spots a maroon BMW 5 Series without any license plates on State Route 20 near Burlington. The driver, instead of stopping, decides to take off, leading the officers on a wild chase through some rural roads.
Things got a bit crazy when the BMW finally came to a halt on Maiben Road. The trooper tried to block the road ahead, but the woman wasn’t having it. She attempted to back up but couldn’t because of traffic. So, what does she do? She drives forward and slams into the open door of the trooper’s car, pinning his leg!
Ouch! The trooper had to end the chase as she sped away. But don’t worry, the investigators, with help from the Burlington Police, figured out who she was and tracked her down.
Just a day later, on December 17, they arrested her at her home without any fuss. Now she’s sitting in the Skagit County Jail facing some serious charges, including Assault in the Second Degree and Eluding a Police Vehicle. Talk about a rough day!
