Woman Injured in Fairground Ride Incident in Birmingham City Centre
A woman was hospitalized after an incident on a fairground ride in Birmingham, with several others treated at the scene.

Birmingham: So, there was this incident at a fairground ride that got a bit out of hand. A woman ended up in the hospital after something went wrong.
Emergency services jumped into action around 7:29 PM at Centenary Square. They got called in because there were reports of an issue with one of the rides.
West Midlands Police mentioned that 11 other folks were treated right there on the spot and then sent home after being checked out.
According to a spokesperson, officers were on the scene in Centenary Square, looking into what happened. They said a few people were getting help from paramedics, but thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
They also cordoned off the area for safety and asked everyone to steer clear while they worked with the emergency teams. It seems like there were some rumors on social media about the swings on the ride getting tangled up.
