Woman Dies in Tragic Crash That Closed North Devon Link Road for Hours
A woman has tragically lost her life in a serious crash on the A361 in North Devon

South Molton: A woman has sadly died after a three-car crash on the A361. It happened near Bish Mill, and another woman was airlifted to the hospital.
Emergency services rushed to the scene around 3:15 PM, and they had to close the road for about nine hours. The crash involved a grey Peugeot, a black Nissan, and a silver Ford van.
The driver of the Peugeot, a woman in her 60s from West Yorkshire, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Nissan driver, a woman in her 40s from Torquay, suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
While the investigation and recovery were underway, police are asking anyone with information to come forward. They want to hear from witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage.
Devon and Cornwall Police said they’re looking into what happened and are urging people to contact them online or by calling 101, quoting log number 405 of 14/01/25.
