Woman assaulted at Navi Mumbai housing society meeting; five booked

Navi Mumbai: So, there was this pretty shocking incident at a housing society meeting in Rabale. A 44-year-old woman got assaulted by five people, including some office bearers. It all kicked off when she asked a few questions during the meeting.

Things got heated, and the accused didn’t take it well. They started hurling insults at her, and before you know it, they pushed her down and started punching her. It’s just awful. She ended up getting hurt and had to go to the hospital for treatment.

The police have stepped in and filed a case against these five individuals. They’re looking at several serious charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. It’s really concerning to see such violence, especially in a community setting like that. Let’s hope she recovers quickly and gets the justice she deserves.
