Woman and Teenage Girl Hospitalized After Being Struck by Car

Pontypool: So, there was this pretty serious incident on Tuesday evening. A woman and a teenage girl got hit by a car on St Luke’s Road around 5:30 PM.
According to Gwent Police, a 50-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were struck by a blue Mini. Emergency services, including the fire department and ambulance, rushed to the scene.
They treated the two right there on the road before taking them to the hospital for more care. The police are asking anyone who saw what happened or has any video footage to come forward.
They mentioned they got a call about the accident at around 5:25 PM. Officers and emergency personnel were on the scene quickly.
The collision involved the blue Mini and the two pedestrians. Traffic was a mess in the area for a couple of hours as the road was closed, and locals said the diversion routes were completely stuck.
