Woman Allegedly Attacked with Samurai Sword During Car Theft
A woman was reportedly assaulted with a samurai sword in a car theft incident in Orange, NSW, leading to a man’s arrest.

Orange: A wild incident went down in Orange, NSW, where a guy allegedly attacked a woman with a samurai sword while trying to steal her car. Can you believe that?
It all started early Monday morning when police got a call about a car theft on Currong Cres. They rushed over to find out what was happening.
Turns out, a 21-year-old man was driving a Hyundai SUV and tried to force the 37-year-old woman out of the car with the sword. That’s just insane!
During the scuffle, he reportedly hit her with the sword and took off, leaving her to fall from the vehicle. Thankfully, she didn’t need any medical help.
Not long after, the police found the abandoned SUV on Lawson Cres and took it in for forensic checks. They were on the case!
Later that evening, they arrested the suspect at a home on Algona Cres. He’s now facing some serious charges, including robbery with an offensive weapon.
He’s also charged with aggravated assault and driving without a proper license. He was denied bail and is set to appear in court soon.
