Cardiff: A woman has tragically lost her life after a hit-and-run incident. She was out walking her dog with her husband when a cyclist struck her.

The 57-year-old was hit on December 10 while they were on Moorland Road. Her husband witnessed the whole thing, which must have been incredibly hard for him.

Now, police are on the lookout for the cyclist. He was reportedly wearing a black face covering, a white shirt, and a red tie. Sounds pretty distinctive, right?

Authorities are urging this cyclist to come forward and take responsibility. He rode away right after the crash, which is just heartbreaking.

Sadly, the woman passed away on January 13, five weeks after the accident. She was taken to the University Hospital of Wales but couldn’t pull through.

Police are asking anyone who might have seen anything or has any footage to reach out. They really want to get to the bottom of this.
