Torquay: A sad incident unfolded recently when an elderly woman was hit by a car in a Marks & Spencer car park. It happened around 4:20 PM on January 9. The woman, in her 80s and from Bovey Tracey, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Derriford Hospital. Unfortunately, she passed away later that evening.
The driver, a man from Paignton, thankfully wasn’t hurt. After the accident, part of the car park was closed off for a thorough investigation and to recover the vehicle involved.
