Glen Iris: So, there was this wild scene where some masked teens were caught on camera allegedly robbing a service station. They were seen tossing stolen cigarettes into a car. Crazy, right? Police say they’ve charged a 15-year-old boy in connection with this.

This all went down on December 4, when these five teens reportedly tried to break into six different businesses in just one night. Talk about a busy evening!

According to the police, they were armed with machetes and demanded cigarettes at a service station around 10:30 PM. They didn’t stop there; they hit up several other stations in Blackburn and Ringwood in just 15 minutes!

They were all decked out in hoods and masks to hide their faces. While one boy has been charged, the rest are still on the loose. It’s a bit of a mystery how they managed to pull this off.

They even used a stolen Volkswagen T-roc to get around. Social media footage shows them moving stolen cigarettes from the store to their getaway car. They also grabbed some cash from the register.

Things got even wilder when they tried to break into a supermarket in Caulfield South. They threw stuff at the doors but couldn’t get in. Workers had to lock themselves in a bathroom to stay safe!

The stolen Volkswagen was taken from a property in Doncaster just a couple of days before the robberies. Police managed to arrest one 15-year-old boy from the Yarra Ranges area, and he’s facing some serious charges.

He’s been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and six counts of armed robbery. He’ll be appearing in children’s court soon. Meanwhile, the hunt is still on for the other teens involved.
