Who Had the Best Season Among 49ers’ Pro Bowl Selections
Fans weigh in on which 49ers Pro Bowl player shined the brightest this season
San Francisco, NFL, George Kittle, Nick Bosa, Kyle Juszczyk, Fred Warner
San Francisco: So, the 49ers had a bit of a rough season, right? But fans are buzzing about who really stood out among their Pro Bowl picks. George Kittle seems to be the fan favorite this time around.
Before the 49ers wrapped up their season with a loss to the Cardinals, NBC Sports Bay Area asked fans who they thought had the best season. Kittle got a ton of love for his performance.
He racked up over 1,100 receiving yards this year, marking his fourth time hitting that milestone in his eight-year career. That’s pretty impressive! Only a few tight ends have done that before.
Even with the team struggling, Kittle still managed to lead the squad with eight touchdowns. That’s not too shabby, especially considering he had a great average of 14.2 yards per catch, which was the best in the league.
Now, Kyle Juszczyk was his usual reliable self, and Fred Warner played well despite an ankle issue. But Nick Bosa had a quieter year with just nine sacks, which is his lowest since his rookie season.
It’s clear the 49ers faced some challenges this year, but Kittle definitely shone through the clouds. He was a bright spot in what was otherwise a tough season.
