Tain: Harrison Ford stars in a new ad campaign for Glenmorangie whisky. The ads highlight the whisky’s production and celebrate Scotland’s beauty.

Ford praised the fun and down-to-earth commercials. They showcase Glenmorangie Original 12 Years Old and The Infinita 18 Years Old.

However, the kilt Ford wears was made by a London company, Palace. This has upset Scottish kilt makers.

Iain Hawthorne, from Daiglen, expressed disappointment. He believes a Scottish company should have made the kilt.

He said Glenmorangie is a Scottish brand and should support local manufacturers. Other kilt makers feel the same way.

Glenmorangie responded, saying the campaign celebrates Scotland and its whisky. They worked with various Scottish companies for the project.
