Stoke-on-Trent: It’s been a rough week with all that snow and ice making the roads pretty dangerous. Because of that, some bin collections have been missed, leaving folks with full bins for nearly a month.

The city council is stepping in to sort things out. They mentioned that, despite their best efforts, the icy conditions made it impossible to collect some bins as scheduled. If your bin was missed, just leave it out starting tomorrow, and they’ll come by to empty it.

To help catch up, they’re putting a pause on brown bin collections next week. They really want to get back on track, so they’re focusing on the blue and grey bins first. If yours hasn’t been emptied, make sure to leave it out from Monday.

For those who use the garden waste service, you can put your brown bin out with your grey bin on your regular collection day the following week. They’re hoping to get everything back to normal soon, so hang tight!
