Newbury: This week is packed with cool events in West Berkshire. On Friday, head to ACE Space for an unplugged night of music, comedy, and poetry. It kicks off at 7:30 PM, but you can arrive early to sign up if you want to perform.

Then, on Saturday, the V365 Volunteer Fair is back at the Corn Exchange from 10 AM to 2:30 PM. It’s a great chance to chat with local organizations looking for volunteers. Plus, there’s an Apple Wassail event at City Rec Orchard at 10 AM. Bring some warm clothes and a pot to bang on!

Later that day, don’t miss the Reading Ukrainian Ladies Choir concert at Beenham Club at 3 PM, along with the Beenham Village Market.

On Sunday, lace up your running shoes for the Woodcote 10K at Woodcote Village Hall, starting at 10:15 AM. It’s a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Pangbourne, so it’s for a good cause!

Finally, on Monday, join the Newbury National Trust Association talk at the West Berks Indoor Bowls Club at 7:30 PM. Peter Gill will share stories about Jerry Lee Lewis, complete with some of his classic songs.

And on Tuesday, the Kintbury Wildlife Group is hosting a New Year party at Coronation Hall. Expect wildlife photos, a quiz, and some tasty refreshments. Sounds like a fun week ahead!
