San Francisco: The Warriors faced off against the Kings, and it was a rough night. They lost 129-99, and it was pretty clear from the start that things weren’t going their way.
Right from the jump, the Warriors couldn’t hold onto the ball. They turned it over on their first possession, and it just kept happening. By the end of the first quarter, they had eight turnovers and only three assists. Ouch!
Even with Curry scoring 26 points, the team just couldn’t get it together. They were sloppy, and the Kings took full advantage, scoring 20 points off those turnovers. It was a tough watch.
Defensively, the Warriors were nowhere to be found. The Kings were scoring at will, racking up 36 points in the first quarter alone. By halftime, the Warriors were down by 24 points, and it felt like the game was already over.
Curry had a great second quarter, scoring 15 points and hitting some impressive shots, but it didn’t matter much in the grand scheme of things. The Warriors just couldn’t keep up.
Coach Kerr had to sit Curry for the entire fourth quarter, which is usually a good sign, but not this time. The Warriors are now 10-8 when Curry scores 20 or more points, which is a bit concerning.
It was a disappointing night for the Warriors, and they’ll need to bounce back quickly if they want to turn things around.
