SAN FRANCISCO: The Kings really turned heads with their performance against the Warriors. Malik Monk stepped up big time, filling in for the injured De’Aaron Fox. He scored 26 points and dished out 12 assists, matching his career high. Domantas Sabonis also had a solid game, putting up 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists.
This win was a big deal for the Kings, especially since it was their first victory in San Francisco since January. They dominated the game, leading by as much as 33 points at one point. It was a real team effort, with Kevin Huerter and rookie Devin Carter also contributing nicely.
What’s even more impressive? They did all this without their star player, Fox, who was out with a bruised glute. The Kings really showed they can keep the momentum going, winning their fourth straight game under interim coach Doug Christie.
Fans were loving it, too. As the game wound down, you could hear chants of “Light the Beam” echoing through the arena. It’s clear that this team is building something special, and they’re not afraid to show it.
