Sacramento: The Kings finally broke their six-game losing streak with a 110-100 victory over the Mavericks. Domantas Sabonis was back in action, scoring 17 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. He really showed he was feeling better after missing a game due to illness.

De’Aaron Fox was on fire, racking up 33 points, six rebounds, and six assists. This win was especially sweet for Doug Christie, who got his first victory as interim coach after taking over from Mike Brown.

It wasn’t all smooth sailing, though. The Kings had some of the same issues they faced under Brown, and the crowd even booed a bit in the first half. But when they pulled ahead in the fourth quarter, the energy shifted, and fans were chanting “Light the beam” as the clock wound down.

The Mavericks were missing some big names like Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, which definitely helped the Kings. But hey, after everything Sacramento has been through lately, they’ll take any win they can get.

Fox had a consistent game, scoring in every quarter. The Kings still need to work on defending the three-point shot, as they let the Mavericks hit 12 threes, even without their top shooters.

Alex Len also got more playing time, which was a nice change. He helped give Sabonis a breather, allowing him to stay fresh. The Kings managed to hold it together even when Fox got into foul trouble, which was a relief.
