Florida: The second SpaceX launch of 2025 is happening this Sunday afternoon. It’s going to be quite a sight!
Though SpaceX hasn’t officially confirmed it yet, the FAA has the Starlink 6-71 mission scheduled between 12:10 p.m. and 4:41 p.m. ET. The Falcon 9 rocket will take off from Kennedy Space Center’s Pad 39A.
So, what’s this mission about? It’s all about sending up more Starlink internet satellites. This batch is part of Group 6, and the rocket will head southeast. If you’re south of Cape Canaveral, you might catch a great view!
Good news for those in Central Florida: you won’t hear any sonic booms this time. The rocket’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship out in the Atlantic.
