Worcester: So, here’s the scoop. PC Ahmad Shoaib was off duty when he got caught up in some pretty serious stuff with a teenager. They were parked in a public spot, and things went way too far.

This guy was just starting his training with West Mercia Police when the West Midlands Police swooped in and arrested him. Talk about a bad start!

Yesterday, there was a misconduct hearing, and it didn’t go well for him. The Assistant Chief Constable, Grant Wills, said he would have been fired if he hadn’t already quit.

They found that he really messed up by breaching the standards expected of police officers. This all went down on April 29, 2023, and he was suspended just a few days later.

Deputy Chief Constable Rachel Jones made it clear that they’re glad this came to light quickly. She emphasized how important it is to maintain public trust and that officers like Shoaib have no place in the force.

Now, he’s going to be added to the College of Policing’s Barred List, which means he can’t work for any UK police service in the future. The hearing’s outcome can still be appealed, but it doesn’t look good for him.
