Weather Maps Reveal Freezing Temperatures Coming to Wales from the East

Cardiff: The UK is expecting a cold spell next weekend. Winds from the east will bring chilly temperatures. However, this cold snap won’t be as severe as the 2018 Beast from the East.
Temperatures in Cardiff will drop from 11°C on Monday to just 4°C on Saturday. With the easterly wind, it will feel even colder, around 2°C.
Channel 4 weather forecaster Liam Dutton mentioned that the cold air from Europe is not as intense as in February 2018. The forecast suggests a cold easterly wind next weekend, but it’s uncertain how long it will last.
The Met Office predicts a generally dry end to the week for Wales, with some sunshine and cloudier periods. Expect widespread overnight frosts as it gets colder.
Weather maps indicate a chilly weekend ahead. Saturday will be particularly cold, and Sunday afternoon will also feel brisk.
The long-range forecast from February 7 to 16 shows high pressure near the UK. Southern and eastern areas may experience drier conditions, but northern and western regions could see some rain.
There’s a slight chance of colder conditions if the high pressure shifts. This could lead to wintry showers in some areas.
Looking ahead to late February, high pressure will likely dominate. Initially, temperatures may be below average with overnight frosts, but they could rise later.
Precipitation amounts are expected to be below average at first, with a few wintry showers possible in the east and some rain in the west.
