Newport: So, there was this crazy armed robbery last night in Newport. Gwent Police are really hoping someone saw something and can help them out.
Apparently, two masked guys strolled into a shop on Caerleon Road around 9:40 PM. They were armed with a hammer and went straight for the cash register.
The shopkeeper had to back off while these guys made off with the money. It’s pretty wild!
After the heist, they jumped into a black Vauxhall Corsa and sped away. Gwent Police are asking anyone who might have seen anything to come forward.
They’ve got a video of the whole thing, but the robbers’ faces are covered. Still, maybe someone will recognize their clothes or how they acted.
