Watch Moment Man Rumbled by Police When Gun Found in His Sock
A man from London was caught with a gun hidden in his sock. He has been sentenced to six and a half years in prison for possession of a prohibited firearm.

Kent: A man from London got caught with a gun in his sock. The police released a video showing the moment they found it. His name is Daniel Bryan, and he lives in Eltham.
On July 30, 2024, police noticed a suspicious car coming from Brixton. They tracked it to a spot on Ashford Road in Maidstone. When the car stopped, they detained Bryan and another person.
During the search, officers discovered a gun tucked in Bryan’s sock. It was under his jogging bottoms. The body camera footage shows the moment they found the weapon.
It turned out to be a modified starter pistol, which could fire live rounds. Bryan was charged with having a prohibited firearm. He pleaded not guilty but was convicted at Maidstone Crown Court.
On January 31, 2025, he was sentenced to six and a half years in prison. Detective Constable Stuart Drakeley said the gun was dangerous and could have caused serious harm.
He emphasized that there’s no place for illegal firearms in Kent. The police will keep targeting those who break the law. Anyone caught can expect a long prison sentence.
