New Orleans: So, there was this really scary incident on New Year’s Day. A gunman drove his car into a crowd on Bourbon Street, and it was chaos. Sadly, at least 10 people lost their lives, and many more were hurt.
The police said the guy didn’t just crash into people; he also started shooting at the officers. Thankfully, the two officers who got hit are now stable. But it’s just a terrible situation all around.
The FBI is on the case, treating it as an act of terrorism. They mentioned that the driver seemed to be trying to hit as many people as he could, which is just horrifying.
