Detroit: The Pistons faced off against the Kings in a wild game. Sacramento was in control, leading by 16 points early in the fourth quarter. But, as it often goes in basketball, things took a turn.
With just 10.8 seconds left, the Kings were up 113-110 after some free throws from Kevin Huerter. But then, the Kings made a couple of mistakes that opened the door for the Pistons.
Jaden Ivey stepped up and hit a four-point play that clinched the win for Detroit. Some Kings fans might say he flopped a bit, but replays showed there was contact from De’Aaron Fox before the shot.
Kings coach Mike Brown was not happy after the game. He pointed out that Ivey shouldn’t have even gotten that shot off. The plan was to foul before any shot, but the Pistons managed to run down the clock before Ivey took his shot.
Cade Cunningham was on fire, scoring 33 points and handing out 10 assists. Malik Beasley added 22 points, while Ivey finished with 19. For the Kings, Fox led the way with 26 points, and Trey Lyles contributed 20 off the bench.
