Drug Dealer Claims Holiday While Caught 223 Miles from Home
A man caught far from home tried to convince police he was just on holiday
Crewe, Tunbridge Wells, Cocaine, Cannabis, Adrain Badea
Crewe: So, there’s this guy, Adrain Badea, who got pulled over by the cops 223 miles away from home. He tried to play it cool, saying he was just on holiday in Tunbridge Wells.
He told the officers he was there to check out the sights, but things took a turn when they searched his car. Turns out, he was actually dealing drugs for a crime group.
When they stopped his black BMW at the Fountains Retail Park, he had no place to stay and claimed he was sleeping in his car. Not exactly a vacation vibe, right?
During the search, they found six bags of cocaine hidden in his shoe, along with some cannabis and £130 in cash. Not the best holiday souvenirs!
Badea, who’s 27 and from Crewe, ended up facing some serious charges. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years and four months in prison at Maidstone Crown Court.
