Warrington: Westvale House care home is throwing open its doors on Saturday, January 18. It’s a great chance for folks to come by and check things out.

They’ve got a special beekeeping talk lined up with Julia Young from the North Cheshire Beekeepers Association at 2pm. It’s all in celebration of Winnie the Pooh Day, which is pretty cute!

Visitors can take a look around the home, meet the friendly staff, and enjoy some homemade cakes and drinks in the bistro and lounge. Sounds like a lovely way to spend the day!

The event runs from 10am to 4pm, so there’s plenty of time to pop in. Joanne Sherwood, the activities co-ordinator, shared a sweet quote from Piglet and Pooh: “How do you spell love? You don’t, you feel it.”

She added that they want everyone to feel that warmth when they visit. So, if you’re in the area, they’d love to see you there!

Westvale House is part of Barchester Healthcare, one of the biggest care providers in the UK, offering residential, nursing, and respite care.

If you want more details about the event, just reach out to Julie Dobson, the operations manager, at 01925 571 266 or drop her an email at Julie.dobson@barchester.com.
