Warrington: So, there was quite a scene at the bus station yesterday. Water was just pouring in through the ceiling and light fixtures. It looked like a mini waterfall!
The council figured out that it was a burst pipe causing all that chaos. They had to close the bus station temporarily to deal with the leak.
Even though they’ve stopped the leak, they’re planning to do a thorough check tomorrow to see what repairs are needed. So, it’s still a bit of a mess.
If you usually catch a bus there, you’ll need to pay attention to some changes. They’re advising folks to get off a stop early or hop on at their first normal stop if they can.
For tomorrow, buses coming into Warrington will be stopping at a few different spots. Like, if you’re coming from the west or south, you’ll end at Sankey Street. And if you’re coming from the north, it’ll be Warrington Central train station.
When it comes to leaving Warrington, buses will start from Legh Street for services heading west or south. There’s also a temporary stop on Scotland Road for some outbound services.
If you’re switching buses, just remember you’ll have to walk a bit between the last stop and the first one. And if you’re unsure about anything, don’t hesitate to ask the staff who’ll be around to help.
Oh, and it’s a good idea to give yourself a little extra time for your journeys. The council will keep everyone updated once they’ve had a chance to assess the situation.
