Warner Earns First-Team All-Pro Honors; Two 49ers Make Second-Team
Fred Warner shines again with First-Team All-Pro honors while two teammates earn Second-Team recognition
Fred Warner, San Francisco, NFL, 49ers, George Kittle, Kyle Juszczyk
He’s the only player from the 49ers to make the First-Team, but tight end George Kittle and fullback Kyle Juszczyk also got some love with Second-Team selections.
Even with a fractured ankle for most of the season, Warner was a beast on the field. He racked up 131 tackles, two interceptions, and even scored a touchdown. Not too shabby!
The 49ers’ defense had a rough year, though. They allowed a whopping 25.6 points per game, which is one of the worst in the league. They really struggled, especially in their last two games.
With a new defensive coordinator needed after the season, it’s been a bit of a mess. But through all the changes, Warner has been a steady force for the team.
