On February 25, 2024, Sawers got on a bus and started chatting up a group of girls. He made some really inappropriate comments, saying things like he’d take them to his house and do unspeakable things. It’s just disgusting.
Things escalated when he actually performed a sex act on himself while the girls were nearby. Understandably, they were left upset and distressed. Another passenger had to alert the driver, and the police were called right away.
In court, Sawers’ lawyer tried to explain his behavior by saying he was living a chaotic life with drug use. But the sheriff was having none of it, stating he deliberately targeted young girls. The judge made it clear that a custodial sentence was the only option.
Now, he’s not only serving time but also has to register as a sex offender indefinitely. It’s a serious wake-up call for him, but honestly, it’s hard to feel sorry for someone who thinks that kind of behavior is acceptable.
