Mottingham: A fox found itself in a bit of a pickle when it got three paws stuck in a garden chair. Thankfully, the RSPCA came to the rescue on Sunday.

A resident noticed the poor creature struggling in their garden and called for help. RSPCA Inspector Clive Hopwood arrived to find the fox wedged between the wooden slats of the chair.

He figured the fox had tried to jump onto the chair but slipped through the gaps. It must have been super uncomfortable for her, hanging there like that.

Inspector Hopwood managed to carefully free the fox’s legs from the slats. After the rescue, he took her to The Fox Project for some extra care.

Good news! The team there thinks she hasn’t broken any bones, so she’s pretty lucky. They’re optimistic she’ll recover and be able to return to the wild soon.

If you ever see an animal in distress, don’t hesitate to reach out for help. You can find advice on the RSPCA website.
