Warrington: An urgent appeal has been made for food and supplies for those whose homes were hit hard by the flooding on New Year’s Day. It’s a tough time for many, and local MP Sarah Hall is rallying the community to lend a hand.

She’s asking everyone to pitch in and help out those in dire need. The focus is on gathering food, cleaning products, and toiletries to help families start the long road to recovery.

They really need things like cleaning supplies, tinned foods, and toiletries. It’s all about making sure people have what they need to get back on their feet.

The Warrington Islamic Centre is stepping up as a collection point for donations. If you want to help, you can drop off items today between 10 am and 4 pm.

Sarah Hall mentioned that they’re currently only accepting specific items to make sure they’re meeting everyone’s unique needs. If you’d rather donate money, there’s a fundraiser going on to buy supplies directly.

Every little bit helps, and the community has been amazing so far. Thanks to all the volunteers who are working hard to make a difference. If you want to contribute, you can donate online at their GoFundMe page.
