Miami: Tyreek Hill had a solid game with a touchdown catch, but he was more focused on the plays he missed. After the Dolphins’ win over the 49ers, he talked about his dropped passes.
He dropped a crucial third down pass early in the game and later missed a tough catch in the end zone. Hill admitted that he should have made those catches and blamed his lack of practice time for the mistakes.
This season, a wrist injury has kept him from practicing as much, and he knows that showing up on game day isn’t enough. He said, “I need those valuable reps with Tua.”
Hill feels that missing those practice days is affecting his game. He mentioned that if he had been more in sync with Tua during the week, he could have made those plays. He’s determined to step up and get those reps in.
Coach Mike McDaniel agreed with Hill and said they could easily adjust the practice schedule to give Hill more time with Tua. So, it looks like Hill will be getting more practice time as the season goes on.
