Woolwich: So, there was this pretty serious incident near Shooters Hill College. An 18-year-old student got stabbed on Monday afternoon. It’s really shocking, right?
Two teens, a 19-year-old guy and a 17-year-old girl, were arrested the next day. They’re facing some serious charges, like attempted murder. The victim is in the hospital but thankfully, he’s stable now.
Police were called to the scene around 4:20 PM after reports of the stabbing. They rushed the victim to the hospital, where he was initially in critical condition but has since improved.
The college is doing what it can to help students affected by this. They’ve closed for the day and are offering support and counseling. They’re also keeping everyone updated through texts.
Interestingly, this stabbing was the first of two in Woolwich within just two days. A 14-year-old boy was tragically killed on a bus the following day, but those incidents aren’t connected.
The police are still investigating the stabbing on Prince Imperial Road. They’re asking anyone with information to come forward. It’s a tough situation, and the community is really shaken up.
