Woolwich: It’s a sad situation. Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of Kelyan Bokassa, a 14-year-old boy who was stabbed on a bus last week.

The boys, aged 15 and 16, are from Woolwich and Plumstead. They can’t be named because of legal restrictions. They’ve been taken into custody and will face a magistrate today.

Kelyan was riding the route 472 bus when the attack happened around 2:30 PM on January 7. It’s just heartbreaking.

Police rushed to Woolwich Church Street, close to the A205 South Circular Road, but sadly, Kelyan passed away shortly after help arrived. His family is getting support from special officers.

The police arrested the two teens on murder suspicion yesterday. There was also a 44-year-old woman arrested for helping an offender, but she’s been released while the investigation continues.
