Spokane: On Wednesday morning, a tragic accident occurred when a tree fell on a box truck on U.S. Highway 2. The two men inside the truck were identified as Elisha Brian, 30, and Eric Saint, 56. Sadly, both died from blunt-force injuries.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that their deaths were accidental. The truck was heading east when the tree suddenly fell on the cab, causing it to veer off the road.
Authorities, including Spokane police and the Washington State Patrol, found the men inside the truck after the incident. They are currently investigating what happened.
It seems that high winds were the culprit behind the tree falling. Those strong gusts not only caused this accident but also led to other trees falling and power outages in the area.
