Twelve People Hospitalized After House Fire in Co Tyrone

A house fire in Co Tyrone sent twelve individuals to the hospital, including police officers.

Co Tyrone: A house fire led to twelve people being taken to the hospital. This happened in the Cunninghams Lane area of Dungannon on Monday evening.

Four individuals were rescued by police officers at the scene. Some police officers also needed treatment for smoke inhalation.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call just after 8:30 PM. Emergency crews and rapid response paramedics quickly arrived to help.

After assessing the situation, twelve patients were taken by ambulance to Craigavon Area Hospital. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Fire crews found four people already safe outside the property. They used breathing apparatus and firefighting jets to put out the fire and provide first aid.

Those four individuals were then cared for by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The road was closed for a while but has since reopened.
