Miami: Tua Tagovailoa is having a stellar season as the Dolphins’ quarterback. He’s leading the league with an impressive completion percentage of 73.8%. That’s pretty close to the all-time record held by Drew Brees.
With just four games left, Tua has a shot at breaking Brees’ record. But during a recent press conference, he made it clear that winning games is his top priority. He wants to help the Dolphins make a playoff push.
“Surpassing any record in the NFL is a big deal,” Tua said. “But right now, we need to focus on winning. That’s what matters most.” He’s all about the team and believes a winning streak would be even more special than any personal achievement.
In a recent game against the Packers, Tua completed over 80% of his passes, but the Dolphins lost. Last week against the Jets, he was a bit lower at 63%, yet the team came out on top. Tua said he’d take the win every time, showing his commitment to the team’s success.
