Aberdeen: So, there’s this really unsettling story about two sisters who went missing. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti disappeared more than a week ago, and it’s been all over the news.

Police are saying that some wild rumors about their last hours are just not true. Apparently, there were claims they were out partying with a group of guys before they vanished, but investigators have traced their steps and ruled that out.

They were last seen on CCTV walking down Market Street at 2:12 AM on January 7. After that, they headed down a steep, icy path that leads to the River Dee. That’s where the search is focused now since there’s no footage of them coming back.

What’s really eerie is that their triplet sister, Edit, had a bad feeling about them before they went missing. She spoke to them on New Year’s Eve and felt something was off, but couldn’t put her finger on it.

In the days before they disappeared, the sisters told their landlady they were planning to leave their flat, which surprised their brother, Joszef. He said they never mentioned any plans to move out to him or their mom.

Superintendent Davie Howieson, who’s leading the investigation, said they have a few theories but are keeping an open mind. He emphasized that this isn’t a criminal case, just a missing persons inquiry.

He mentioned that the sisters seemed to be living normal lives in Aberdeen, working and socializing like anyone else. It’s just so strange that they would suddenly decide to leave without telling their family.

Henrietta worked at a Costa Coffee, and Eliza was a hotel cleaner. They moved from Hungary about seven years ago, and now their family is really worried about them.
