Jamie, who was just 35, suffered an asthma attack at home. She had dealt with asthma since she was a baby and had spent a lot of time in the hospital because of it. Her mom, Lorraine, emphasized how important it is for asthma patients to prioritize their health and attend appointments regularly.
Lorraine shared how they grew up together, as she was just 16 when she became a mom. Jamie taught her so much about love and life. She blossomed from a lively little girl into a strong, independent woman who was truly a beautiful soul.
Jamie-Louise was a hands-on mom who adored her five kids: Ethan, Nevaeh, Maggie-Mae, Henry-George, and little Colt-Jax. She loved spending time with them, whether it was baking or crafting. Raising five kids, especially one with a disability, was no small feat, but she handled it like a champ.
Her sister Georgina described Jamie as a loving and funny big sister with a heart of gold. Jamie always put others first and lived for her children. She will be deeply missed.
A GoFundMe for the family has raised £2,000 to support Jamie’s kids. The family is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support from the community. They feel blessed to have such a caring town rallying around them during this tough time.
Lorraine also expressed her heartfelt thanks to the emergency services for their kindness and professionalism on the night of Jamie’s passing. It was a devastating day, but their support meant the world to the family.
