Harrow: So, there’s this really disturbing case that just came up in court. A transgender girl, only 18 at the time, was lured into a car park by a group of masked youths. They had invited her to a roller disco, but it turned out to be a trap.
Things took a dark turn when a boy she had been with found out she was transgender. The group turned on her, and it was all planned out to beat her up. It’s heartbreaking to hear that she now struggles to trust people because of this.
Summer Betts-Ramsey, who’s 20, and a few others admitted to causing serious harm. They even had a knife involved. It’s just so messed up. The girl had been with one of the attackers, and when he found out her identity, he got aggressive.
She was threatened with a knife and felt she had no choice but to admit she was transgender. After that, the group just went wild on her. They were all dressed in dark clothes and masks, waiting for her at a bus stop.
When she got to the car park, they attacked her right away. It was brutal—she didn’t even have a chance to defend herself. Betts-Ramsey stabbed her multiple times while the others kicked and punched her. It lasted about 45 seconds, and then they just left her there.
Luckily, some people nearby helped her, and an ambulance was called. She was in pretty bad shape with multiple stab wounds. It’s shocking to think that after the attack, the group was bragging about it on social media.
One of them even sent her a message later, and it’s just sickening to see how they reacted. The whole thing is still ongoing in court, and it’s hard to believe this kind of violence is happening.
