London: Claudia Winkleman was left “appalled” when her husband Kris and their kids decided to watch her show, The Traitors. She’s got this rule at home where they’re not allowed to see her on TV.
Claudia, who’s 52, shared that her family, including Jake, Matilda, and Arthur, had never watched her work until last year. They broke the rule and tuned in to The Traitors, which had everyone on the edge of their seats.
The show was a massive hit, with over eight million viewers for the finale. Claudia was shocked they went against her wishes, saying, “Nobody watches anything I do in my house, under strict instructions.”
Even though she was surprised by their choice, Claudia admits she’s totally obsessed with the show. She went to Scotland with the crew and gave it her all, not knowing how it would be received.
She thinks the psychological game of figuring out who’s lying is what keeps people hooked. It’s addictive, and she’s really into it. On screen, she might seem tough, but she gets close to the contestants.
Claudia even shared a tearful moment when a contestant was banished. She said, “I properly cried — it was probably a bit unhealthy.” It’s clear she cares a lot about the players.
The Traitors airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, so if you haven’t seen it yet, you might want to check it out!
