Coree: So, there was this crazy situation over the weekend. Four guys had to run for their lives after a shooting at a property near the NSW border.

It all kicked off around 4:30 PM on Saturday when five men were hanging out at a place in Coree. Things got heated, and a fight broke out.

Then, one of the guys, who knew the others, grabbed a gun and started shooting at them. Can you believe that?

Police got the call and rushed to the scene. The four men managed to hide and called for help before the cops arrived.

To keep everyone safe, the police set up roadblocks around Uriarra Village while they searched for the shooter and the victims.

They even told folks to steer clear of the area until everything was sorted out. It was pretty tense for a while.

Later that night, around 10 PM, the police caught the alleged shooter trying to escape on a quad bike.

This 20-year-old is now facing some serious charges for firing a gun and causing fear. The investigation is still going on, so we’ll see what happens next.
