Torbay: A hotel in Torbay has decided to stop selling alcohol and pork. This change is all about the new owners wanting to reflect their cultural beliefs. They aim to create a healthier and more inclusive atmosphere for everyone.
The Richmond Hotel, located in Torquay, is part of the H&H Hotels group. They recently shared this news through another hotel in their chain, the Fowey Valley Hotel in Cornwall. Jane Mead, the deputy general manager, explained the decision on their website.
She mentioned that this move is part of their commitment to promote a healthy environment. They want to respect different dietary preferences and cultural practices. Whether guests are visiting for work or leisure, they want to ensure a pleasant and safe experience.
This new policy is also being implemented at the Torquay location on Croft Road. H&H Hotels, founded by Hassan Arif, has properties all over England, from Skegness to London.
They own several hotels, including the Wembar Hotel in London and the Dolphin Hotel in Great Yarmouth. With this change, they hope to make their hotels more welcoming for everyone.
