Tennessee: So, the Titans have decided to let go of their GM, Ran Carthon, after just two seasons. It’s a big move, and they announced it on Tuesday.

The team owner, Amy Adams Strunk, shared her thoughts. She said she really liked working with Ran and thought he was a smart football guy. But, she couldn’t ignore that the team just wasn’t getting better. A 9-25 record isn’t exactly what you want to see.

She expressed her disappointment and mentioned how much she cares about the team and the fans. It’s clear she wants to turn things around and give the fans the performance they deserve.

Now, the Titans are on the hunt for a new GM. Chad Brinker, the president of football operations, will lead that search. Meanwhile, Brian Callahan will stay on as head coach, which is a relief for some fans.

Ran Carthon was brought in back in January 2023 after a solid run with the 49ers. He made some moves, like drafting quarterback Will Levis, but it just didn’t pan out. Some players he brought in are still with the team, but others, like Derrick Henry, have moved on.

The new GM will have a huge task ahead, especially with the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft. It’s a chance to bring in a new quarterback and hopefully get the Titans back on track.
